Lupin III fanfic: Not friends
May. 25th, 2024 07:25 pmI started writing this fic a while back, I think I got the idea shortly after watching "Jigen's Gravestone", but then work got crazy and I was always too tired to finish it. Work is still crazy, but I finally found the time (and energy) to finish it. So here it is, my first smutty Lupin/Jigen fic. It feels kinda weird writing smut about this pairing after being in the fandom for such a long time (I literally grew up with these characters), but what can I say, I've been a little obsessed lately...

Summary: Lupin and Jigen take a little holiday after the events of "Jigen's Gravestone".

"Let's take a holiday," Lupin suggested as he threw the cigarette butt away and slid back behind the wheel of the dilapidated car. The sun had dipped below the horizon, and East Doroa was just a dark silhouette against the purple sky, dozens of tiny lights glittering in the twilight. "Somewhere warm and quiet, far away from secret dossiers and international intrigues. We both need a break after the week we've had."
What he didn't say out loud was that he wanted them to stick together so he could keep an eye on Jigen and his wound, but the gunman read right through him. He told the thief in no uncertain terms he was perfectly capable of taking care of himself and didn't need a babysitter, but Lupin wouldn't budge. Jigen knew trying to argue with him was a lost cause, so he just sighed and reluctantly agreed to go along.
Two days later, they were on a ferry boat headed towards a small Mediterranean island whose name Jigen had never heard before.
