Christmas!
Dec. 25th, 2011 05:56 pmFirst of all: OHMYGOD my friend S. got me a smartphone for Christmas! :O Sure, she works for Samsung so she must have got it for half the price or something, but still. A f*cking smartphone. I was shocked when I saw it. And I feel like Danny Williams with his goofy thumbs: I like keyboards, all right? I find touch-screens... intimidating. And I'm always afraid of breaking things, so I'm handling it as if it were made of glass. It'll take me a while to get used to it.
My parents got me an adorable hat they bought in Paris (it's got a tartan pattern in black, grey, blue and white), new pyjamas (again a tartan pattern, but in pink, purple and grey) and a bottle of Baileys, plus a couple of little things I needed. So, yeah, I'm not complaining at all.
Also, I realised I haven't posted the last Christmas cards yet, so here are the ones I sent to

I don't know if the last person already got her card, so I won't post it.
I'm going to the cinema to see "Puss in boots" tonight. It's weird going to the cinema today, it means someone is working on Christmas Day and that's... not fair? I don't know, I'm weird like that.
And yesterday I found out, totally by chance as usual, that Italian TV is airing Sherlock. I remember watching a little bit of it online earlier this year and being outraged because the dubbing was so bad. Well, not the dubbing per se, but they chose actors whose voices were so different from the original ones that I couldn't listen to them. And there were also some translation issues, so I gave up pretty quickly. I don't know, maybe I could give it a another try, they're showing it on Thursday night and I don't have to go to the gym for the next two Thursdays...
Anyway, I hope you're all having a fantastic Christmas! :)
