Die Anal-fixierteste Band der Welt
Jul. 9th, 2009 12:46 pmI should probably be sleeping now, I came home less than two hours ago, but I'm way too excited to fall asleep, plus I napped on and off at the station and on the train, so I should be all right for the next few hours.
Last night was the craziest Ärzte concert I've ever been to. The setlist was quite standard, but it was a total Schwulfest!
Pictures and videos (if I manage to upload them) will come later, they came out pretty well.
I won't even try to write a coherent report, I'll just start with this: Farin spoke Italian! I spoke Italian to Farin! *flails* All right, I actually shouted at him, but he replied, so I consider that a conversation. XD
OK, let me try to explain. I got at the venue at 12:30 and there were a grand total of 5 people there (including Ameise), which of course meant Erste Reihe. I did get to the front, but it was a bit problematic: first when they let us in, the doors to the actual hall were still closed (it was an auditorium, so it has inner doors as well). When they finally opened, I saw there were already people sitting down in front of the stage and thought "WTF? Where the hell did they come out from?!" But the place in front of Farin was still free, and since I wanted to stand there, it wasn't a problem. After a closer inspection, though, we found out those people were a "human barrier" because the central part in front of the stage, between Farin's and Rod's mikes, was completely barrier free! How fucking crazy is that!? A few girls talked to one of the local security guys and pointed out it was dangerous (the barriers at the side weren't even fixed to the floor), but the guy just said: "This is Montreux, a jazz festival." Well, you obviously don't know what DÄ fans are capable of.
But anyway, after the opening act (Shakra, not Shakira :P) the girl standing to my right and I let 2 small teenagers in the front row to see Alice Cooper, they were a boy and a girl shorter than 1.50 m, they wouldn't have seen anything otherwise. In the meantime, the girl standing to my left kept trying to pushing me out of the way, but with no luck. Bitch.
After the Alice Cooper show - which kicked ass, by the way - the guys from the DÄ security removed the, frankly useless, side barriers and said that, after the techs were done removing the curtain, we could go forward. Meaning: right to stage! There were cameras in the way and it was an awful mess at first, with people pushing everyone, but after the first 3 songs everyone calmed down, at least where I was standing, in the middle things looked rather painful. Then, after a song or two, the woman standing to my left, an Alice Cooper fan, just walked away, so there I stood, with lots of room to move and even dance right at Farin's feet! >_<
During the first Ansage he spoke French and then asked "Ci sono italiani qui?" ("Are there Italians here?") I waved my hand right in front of him sporting what must have been the most idiotic grin ever, and he went on saying "Noi siamo I Dottori di Berlino" ("Wir sind Die Ärzte aus Berlin"). I was dying, I've always wanted to hear Farin speak Italian live. >_< He spoke Italian a couple more times, once to introduce the "three-note test" before "Deine Schuld" (but he totally made up words, I wouldn't have understood what he meant if he hadn't played the notes, HAHA) and once he said "Grazie", to which I promptly replied "Prego!" :D
But the best happened when he came back to his place after Rod sang "1/2 Lovesong". I shouted "Bentornato!" He was like "WAS?" I said it again but he still couldn't understand with all the other people screaming. So I said "Welcome back? Willkommen zurück?" He finally got it and said "Ah, bentornato!" and made a gesture to say "Sorry, I can't hear anything." OMG, he's got such an adorable accent. *fangirl overload*
Then I got one of Bela's sticks, another girl had actually got it, but I heard her curse and 30 seconds later the security woman standing next to me was handing it over to me. :O Probably the other girl already had that model (the Pornoboy one, which I found out I didn't have), so she just gave it back. Now, that's what I call generosity.
And at the end I even got a Farin's pick! >_< Those are so rare, dammit! He was throwing picks to the audience and picked up the last ones, I extended my hand palm up like a beggar and looked at him with big puppy eyes (or, at least, I tried) and he threw one of the picks to me! WHEE!
Bela was jumping and dancing all over the stage during songs and Ansagen, Zu Spät was the usual rhyme battle and they had to actually give up playing Rebell because, every time they tried, either Bela or Farin came up with sexual jokes and they just burst out laughing and couldn't play anymore. They used what I guess was a popular German song and turned it into an ode to Arschficken. XD Bela even knelt down behind Farin and either bit or simply pawed his ass, anyway, he grabbed it and squeezed it non too gently for a while. And of course Farin said they were not responsible for their childish behaviour, if the organizers make them play at midnight, they should know that's the time when they lose all inhibitions and become totally "Anal-fixiert".
Farin even sang to Bela (more or less): "Schwul sein steht mir nicht, ausser vielleicht für dich." >_<
Also, Farin said that, since they're not going to play for a long time, they needed to get it all out last night.
My God, reading this entry it looks like I'm a 13-year-old fangirl, but I can't help it, DÄ concerts are the only thing that makes me feel this good. Even if I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning and spend a night at the station afterward. It's worth every second of it, every fucking second.
PS And I even found the new Prawda waiting for me when I got home this morning. Das Leben ist schön.
