That went well
Apr. 26th, 2009 06:51 pmI told my parents about my project of going to Berlin to attend a business German course and do an internship. Of course my mother asked, with fear in her eyes: "And then... are you going to... stay there?" I told her I don't know yet, I mean, I don't know where I'll be in 3 weeks time, how can I know what's gonna happen by the end of the year?
She took it well though, I was expecting exaggerated reactions, tears and stuff like "Nooo! My only daughter wants to move to Germanyyy! D:" Instead she just told me to think it over and take my time. I told her I'm going to wait at least until after the elections in June (who knows, I might even get elected, HAHA) and that, before doing anything, I'll make sure that the place in our town which called me for an interview doesn't want to hire me. It would be quite inconvenient if I moved to another country and then got called for a job that's 10 minutes away from where I live.
In the meantime, here's some eye candy for my LJ friends, who always bear with me and my rants. Remember: I love you. :3
