Oct. 4th, 2007 10:51 pmI caught a cold. Maybe it's a good thing, so I have an excuse to stay home, I was supposed to go out every single night this week. (Well, I did go to Japanese this evening...) I was even tempted to stay home this morning, but then I remembered that tickets for The Cure went on sale today, so I dragged myself out of bed and went to work.
By the way, 46 EUROS for a ticket! What the fuck, it cost me 50,000 lire in the year 2000, which is about half the price. Ang guess who's the Italian promoter for their tour? Yes, the promoting agency where I wanted to do my internship. *grumbles* Bah. It's not even at the Forum this time. But I found out that Tokio Hotel are going to play at the Forum at the end of October. The biggest venue in Milan. What has the world come to?

slash_kitten for sending me "Revenant" by autiotalo, that story is one of the best fanfics I've EVER read. And I didn't even know it existed until a couple of days ago! It's a good thing I studied Greek Theatre this year, so I could appreciate the story even more. Oh, Greek mythology. I even had a sort of "mythologic" dream last night, involving a cursed tree seeking revenge and people drowning in the river because I had brought them to the bank where said tree stood. And I had brought them there knowing perfectly well what would happen. Yes, I finished reading Revenant last night just before going to bed, why do you ask? ^_^
Reading such a wonderful fic made me want to write again. I'm always writing drabbles, but I'd like to write something longer. I already have 6 pages of a Richy Guitar story I started at least a year ago and never finished and also an idea for a Bela/Farin fic. Let's hope I can make something out of them. And of course there's that side-project I've been thinking about for quite some time. I've worked on it lately, I really, really hope I can finish it.

By the way, I noticed I didn't have "tattoos" listed among my interests, how could I fail to mention one of my biggest fetish?
Bluvertigo: my favourite Italian band, I was crazy about them when I was 17-18 years old. They come from a town nearby, a friend of mine even used to see the singer sometimes because he lived close to her school and I used to envy her sooo much because of it. Too bad he's such a diva and is too busy with his solo albums nowadays, I miss the band.
Boys in makeup: what can I say, I have a huge weakness for boys wearing makeup, especially black eye-pencil. *dreamy sigh*
Tarots: I don't really believe in reading the future through tarots, but I tried to learn how to do it once. Eventually I gave up because I was too lazy to do it properly, but it was fun, I should start again. I'm so full of contradictions. :P
Versailles no bara: a manga and anime series, also known as "Lady Oscar". This is probably my all-time favourite cartoon, so wonderfully tragic. The story is set in France at the end of the 18th century, it's about a girl who is raised as a boy by her father and becomes captain of the royal guards. The first part of the story is all about life at court, with all kinds of intrigues, but the French Revolution is just around the corner and she'll have to make a choice: stay loyal to the royal family or follow the new ideals? Oh, I loved it.
Goth culture: I love goth culture and aestetics, if I wasn't so damn lazy I'll be gothed up 24-7, but alas, it takes so much time. My mother should've known better than to raise me on bread and Addams Family. :P
Poi: I call it kiwido, but I've read the proper name is poi. Or "juggling with chains". It's difficult to explain what it is, so I'll just link to a video: http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=MQUKSKME0bI I'm not as good as her, but I'm not bad either. The really cool thing is doing it with fire though.
Data: Lieutenant Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation, the most adorable android of the galaxy. I'm such a nerd, I even wrote an androidcest fic once...
