I can't believe this

What. The. Fuck. Someone wrote an email to the guy in charge of this office telling him I won't be working here any longer because I resigned. IF YOU'RE GONNA GO AROUND TELLING LIES ABOUT ME TO SAVE YOUR ARSE, BE AT LEAST SENSIBLE AND TELL ME FIRST, SO WE CAN SAY THE SAME THING, YOU IDIOT! Sheesh.

When one of the guys asked me if I didn't need to give a 30-days notice in case of resignation, I simply said "But I'm not resigning, they're just sending me somewhere else." I thought it was just a misunderstanding, but then the person in charge came to me and asked me "So, what are you going to do now?" And I told him "I don't know yet." He was somewhat confused, so I explained I still don't know when I'll be sent. And he was like "Wait, I got an email saying you resigned."

Well, I will resign, but not until next year and only if I'm admitted to the Master's. And my boss explicitly told me to keep it secret until then, so no one is supposed to know about it yet. I'd like to know what the fuck happened. God, I'm SO glad I'm quitting this job in a couple of months.
