Birthday, job and Wayne :)
Oct. 6th, 2006 01:11 pmFirst of all: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ITTY!!! ♥♥♥ I wanted to draw/write something for you, but I've been so busy these last few days and didn't make it in time. Hopefully I'll have more time in the weekend.
Speaking of being busy, I started working in a new place. You may remember I was all pissed off and desperate about being sent to Bergamo with basically no forewarning (they told me on Tuesday at 4:30 pm and I had to start the next morning.) Well, there's a guy in the new office who lives in my building! How fucking brilliant is that? We can go together with his car and I won't even need to drive, we'll just share the costs. I can't believe my luck.
I also found out my cousin is selling her car, which is almost new because she didn't use it much, but for a series of reasons she has to sell it now. It's a real bargain and my parents said I should buy it and they'll contribute to it. An early Xmas present, they said. Holy fuck.
And last but not least, evidence #837432986 that I'm just a silly fangirl: I wrote a message to Wayne on MySpace asking him what his next projects are, whom he's gonna snog now that Bela's not around (yes, I asked him that!) and if he's going to play in Italy too when his solo album is ready. I wrote something along the lines of "If you're going on tour, come over to Italy, don't make me stalk- ehm, travel all over Germany to see you again." I wasn't really expecting him to answer, but he did! And his message started like this:
Oh Alex,
you can stalk me anytime.
I actually squealed when I read that. Hah, he's such a flirt. And I'm really impressed he took the time to answer my message, and not with a one-liner, but with a real reply. *cough*unlikeFarin*cough* I mean, he probably doesn't remember me at all (well, when he saw me in München he made a face as if he had recognised me and was trying to remember where he had seen me; but maybe I'm just imagining things :P) and even if he actually remembered me, I'm just one of the hundreds of fans who know him thanks to Bela's concerts, but he still took the time to answer my silly message. Don't you love it when musicians appreciate their fans? :)
