dienacht sat down at my table and we started talking about Die Ärzte and their New Year's Eve concert. In English, of course. WTF?
Dear brain, are you trying to tell me I'm an idiot for not buying a ticket for the Silvester concert? I already know that, thank you very much. And I know there are still tickets available (only tribune, but it's better than nothing), but before planning anything I need to know where I'll be working in the next months. Hello, I'm supposed to start tomorrow and I still don't know where! >_<
I wasn't so sure about it when they announced it, I thought "An open-air concert on New Year's Eve? In Germany? No way." Plus, none of my friends was interested and the idea of going to such a big concert on my own kind of scared me. But now, after seeing Bela's concerts and loving every second of them, I'm itching to see an Ärzte gig. I'm seeing Farin in November but, you know, a real Ärzte concert would be the perfect way to end this year.
But I really can't plan anything right now. Damn job. I'll just sit here and hope I can see some other gigs. Like, a secret one maybe? *cough*
And for those of you who have never heard my wonderful voice and are dying to know how I sound (/end sarcasm), here's a little MP3 of me telling nonsense in English and German. I can only describe my German as awkward. :P
