All about Bela
Aug. 1st, 2006 02:36 pmQuote of the day: Rod, würdest du deine Kinder zweisprachig erziehen?
Rod: "Gute Frage. Ja, würde ich wohl tun."
Bela: "Mach das auf jeden Fall, das würde ich sogar machen."
Farin: "Wie denn? Deutsch und Berlinerisch?"
I found this interview on the Bademeister Board some time ago, this bit always cracks me up. XD
Today I paid the balance for my holiday in Berlin. And of course the bank clerk misspelled my surname. *sigh* Why does everyone misspell it, it's not that difficult, come onnn!!! >_<
Anyway, since we're talking about Berlin,
putzich said something about having my Cowboy Bela drawing printed on a T-shirt and I thought that's not a bad idea, you know. I could have it printed and wear the T-shirt at one of the concerts I'm seeing in September. But I'd probably feel very silly wearing it. =/
Also, I saw a comic book I'd like to give to Bela, a sort of homage to Russ Meyers, it's an Italian comic book but it's without words, the comics equivalent of a silent film, so he wouldn't need to speak Italian to understand it. But what are the chances I'll be able to give it to him? I mean, I'm going to the Berlin and Hamburg gigs, which I suppose will be held in quite big venues. Does he even sign autographs after his shows? I really have no idea how these things work, I've never seen bands sign autographs after concerts in Italy. I could just hand it over to someone from the security, but it would be so much cooler to give it to him in person.
Now, I want you to be honest: is that just a stupid, pathetic idea? I thought it was a nice idea at first, I bought the comic and found it brilliant and thought "Hey, a comic lover like Bela will love this." But now I'm not so sure anymore.
And maybe I should write something in
belafarinrod to ask if there's someone who is going to Hamburg from Berlin (
achtanablah?), so I can tag along.
Damn me and my shyness.
