First of all: 27 Gennaio, Giornata della Memoria
Because Italian Fascists were as guilty as German Nazis, we had racials laws as well, we sent innocent people to concentration camps as well. So why don't we teach that in schools? Saying "Nazis were evil" is too easy. But that shouldn't surprise me, "Alleanza Nazionale" and "Movimento Sociale", far-right parties, are part of the current government. Officially, they changed and are now "conservative" parties, but they still say Mussolini was one of the greatest Italian statesmen and not a dictator. And Berlusconi had the guts to say Mussolini wasn't a dictator because he didn't kill anyone. It makes me sick.
Second: Happy Birthday Wolfy! XD
Third: 113 towns in Südtirol (out of 116 total) asked for Austrian "protection". They said they want the Austrian Parliament to include their protection as a minority in the new Constitution they're writing. What the fuck? They should ask that to the Italian Parliament. No wait, they shouldn't, because they're already protected as a minority, they have a special statute, the official languages are both Italian and German and so on.
I can understand the fact that they don't want to be part of Italy, it was an imposition they had to endure after World War I because of "strategic reasons": the border between Italy and Austria couldn't be too concave or the front line in a possible future war would be too favourable to one of the two countries, so politicians decided to divide Tirol in two and Südtirol was stuck with us. I wouldn't be happy either, but things are getting ridiculous now. Just sign a petition and ask to be part of Austria, for God's sake.
Fourth: WTF? Last night I thought "I wonder when they'll have 'Du bist ein Mann' at www.bademeister.com." And today...

Und es schneit noch! O_O Man sollte aber die Strassen putzen, bitte, ich musste heute Morgen 45 Minuten auf den Bus warten. -_-
