Bah. And a drabble

Why do I have to feel like this? It's a beautiful sunny day and I'm all apathetic. I should be in a park having fun, instead I'm here being uselessly broody. I'm an idiot.

"What are you doing?"

Bela started and looked up. Farin was standing in the doorway, arms folded and a disapproving expression on his face.

"Nothing."

"I thought you had quit with that shit."

"I did. I'm just tired and need something to get me through the gig."

"That's not gonna be enough and you know it. It's never gonna be enough."

"You're not my fucking mother, Jan."

Farin gave him a withering look and left.

Bela slammed his fist on the table. He opened the little plastic bag and pulled out two more pills. He needed an extra that night.
