Snowflake Challenge 2019 - Day 1
I had fun with the Snowflake Challenge last year, so I'm doing it again this year.

Day 1
In your own space, talk about your Happy Placeāthe things that give you joy, calm you or keep you sane. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
This is an easy one: my Happy Place is in front of a stage. Anyone who knows me knows that I love going to concerts, both big and small ones, I just feel in my element when I'm standing there, not just listening to music but being part of a show, sharing the experience with other people who are enjoying it as much as I am. It's something I try to do as often as I can, and I hope I'll be able to do it for many, many years to come.
Another Happy Place that literally kept me sane during very difficult years is fandom. Not a specific one (I've been in a few different fandoms through the years), but the feeling of being part of a community, of being connected to people who share the same love or at least interest for the same band, book, TV series. Lately the community part hasn't been so strong, but reading a good fanfic still makes me feel good and makes me forget about everyday problems, at least for a little bit.

And years ago, when I was clinically depressed, fandom was one of my few happy things. I still adore it.
