A quick recap

I'm still alive. Sort of. Friday night I flew back to Milan for a quick visit, I landed around 11 PM. On Saturday I got my anti-flu vaccination, ate a huge steak ('cos my mother said "I'm sure you're not eating enough meat!") and my favourite apple pie, helped my mother making lasagne and went out to dinner with my friends. On Sunday I woke up with a fever, which is quite normal after a flu jab, and felt pretty crappy (I'd also got my period the day before, oh, joy) and had to actually force myself to eat my mum's delicious lasagne. You can imagine just how worried she was. I had my return flight at 7:30 PM and at 10 PM I was safely "at home". Then on Monday I started my Praktikum and yesterday I was sent to a conference to see how things work, the new trainee and I had to be at the hotel where the conference took place at 8 AM! D: When I got home last night I was so tired I just had some rice soup and went to bed at 9 PM. But today I'm feeling much better. And it SNOWED this morning! WTF it's just November! :O

I'm glad to hear you're fine. :)

I saw the snow in the news. WTF? Here, it rained almost the whole day. Pff!

Lasagne! I love Lasagne! But sadly, Lasagne you can get here, is often very very bad.

Oh, you should eat my mum's lasagne then, she makes everything from scratch: dough, ragù and besciamella. Delicious! :D

That sounds extra yummy. :)))

There's only one pizzeria in Bottrop which offers a verrrry tasty lasagne. But it's too far away to take it home and often too crowded to get a table, because it's a very small place. ;)

Anything my mother cooks is yummy - she used to be a cook. :P The other day I cooked some pasta with zucchini and was very proud of myself, it tasted EXACTLY like hers. XD All right, that's a very simple, but still...

Congratulations!!! I mostly fail when I try to cook as good as my mother. :D

But I'm the family's best baker. XD
