Bela, rl and webcomics
I shouldn't have used that Bela pic as header image, now I just keep staring at it. *_*
Last night I went to the party meeting for the annual festival they're organising. Of course they've already done all the music-related stuff, so I can't help out with that; I'll be in charge of the bookshop instead. But I want to learn something anyway, like buroucratic stuff about permits and copyright money an the like. I mean, I know what you need to do, but I don't know how, and that's the reason why I wanted to help them, so I could learn something too. Whatever. At least I'm not going to fry fish.
Some time ago I got an idea for a webcomic, I thought it was a brilliant idea at first, but then lost all my motivation. I wanted to put it on my site using Wordpress, so I could manage it easily like a blog, but then I found out my host doesn't support Wordpress, or better, you need to buy additional PHP features to make it work, and even then Wordpress doesn't guarantee that it will actually work. I thought of just creating a standard Wordpress blog, but the name I wanted to use was already taken (the blog was deleted, but I can't use the name). I could use another name, the original one was nothing special and I was thinking of changing it anyway, but I can't think of anything at the moment. It just doesn't seem such a great idea anymore.
I'll just post the first panel here:

I just wanted to draw short, humorous strips with those two characters, but I'm not very motivated at the moment. I'll just stick to my Los Helmstedt comics, I already have an idea for the next strip. And I need to start working on my photographic portfolio. Not that I'll ever need a real portfolio, but it would be nice to actually have one.
