Comic sketch

I hope I won't ruin this completely when I ink it.

Yes, I know his legs are too short, but I'm not going to redraw them, it took me forever to draw semi-decent folds. HE'S A SHORTY, ANYWAY. *hides*

Ah, yes, I erased the folds at the hip and never redrew them. Oops. And yes, a pocket would look good too. I should learn to be more patient when I draw, instead I get really pissed off if things don't look the way I want them to at the first try and just abandon them. Which isn't a very smart thing to do.

Thanks for the comment and the suggestions! :)

Oh, I know the feeling of just abandoning things too :( It's so easy to just drop it and never look at it again. Would you mind if I highlighted where I think extra folds would look good and showed you?

If I mind? I'D BE GRATEFUL!

If you feel the legs are too short, flaring the trousers a little can lengthen them :) Afterall, if you stand up your hands are only a couple of inches above your knees, so from your knee to your hips isn't that long anyway. Different line widths help when you're inking too :D They give it a little more "depth".

:O *is awed*

Thank you! Is good to hear the opinion of a pro.

Lol, pro? Man, I must be a Grade-A bullshitter XD

Well, you have definitely more experience in drawing than I do, so you're a pro in my eyes. :P

Shh... Just don't tell anyone how professional comic book artists spend all day sitting around in their underwear, scratching themselves with a pen ;D
