Cani, porci e polipetti

I wanted to open it here on LJ at first, but since two friends of mine have Wordpress accounts I decided to get one too. I'll probably update it twice a year anyway.

La legge è uguale per tutti?
In questo periodo in cui si parla tanto di violenza negli stadi (il Manchester United ha proposto il rimborso ai suoi tifosi che volessero rinunciare alla trasferta italiana; facciamo paura perfino agli hooligans), volevo dedicare questo primo post a una notizia locale, di importanza assolutamente secondaria, ma che secondo me riassume bene lo stato del paese (che mi rifiuto di scrivere con la "p" maiuscola).
Milano, 13 novembre 2007. Un bambino di 11 anni, in bicicletta, attraversa la strada sulle strisce pedonali. O meglio, ci prova, perchè viene travolto da una moto che spunta all’improvviso da dietro le auto parcheggiate in seconda fila.
Una volta tanto, e questo è l’unico elemento positivo di tutta la vicenda, il colpevole si ferma a soccorrere la vittima, che viene prontamente portata in ospedale. In ospedale arrivano anche i vigili, pronti a stilare il verbale.
Una storia a lieto fine? Non direi, visto che ad essere multato è il ragazzino. Motivo: ha attraversato sulle strisce pedonali restando in sella alla bicicletta, non accompagnandola a mano. Nessuna multa al motociclista, nè a chi aveva parcheggiato le auto in seconda fila causando, più o meno indirettamente, l’incidente.
Come dire, oltre al danno, la beffa. Come si può pretendere che "l’uomo comune" abbia rispetto delle istituzioni se le istutuzioni non rispettano i cittadini?

Last night I watched MTV Masters while waiting for the last episode of Heroes and I almost fell from my chair when Farin said "Il sapore di amore" to introduce some show. I laughed for 20 minutes straight, I just couldn't stop. And the face he made when he said that... XD
Only 2 weeks till the concerts! :D
Damn, it's Sara's birthday! I've already bought her present, but I almost forgot to send her my wishes.
