So, a little bird told me this will probably be the last DÄ tour. Fuck. I guess I could see the Berlin show on the 1st June, it's not sold out yet and it's on a Friday, but my LA trip is going to be quite expensive, so I'd rather save those few hundred euros. Hopefully they'll play again in the future, some random gig or maybe a festival or something, but still. Talk about awful timing... :(

Aw, seriously? That would be so sad... I'd love to see them live again, only ever managed to see them once.

Oh, I've seen them so many times, it would be a pity if I missed their last tour. But I'm sure LA will be amazing!

When I still lived in Germany, they never really played that close to where I lived, but yeah. I'd love to see them again. Meh.

I had to travel around quite a bit to see them live (and of course they were on hiatus when I was actually living in Germany *grumble*), but it was always a lot of fun. I usually picked weekend shows in towns I hadn't visited yet, so I could kill two birds with one stone: visit a new place during the day and go to the concert in the evening. :)

Oh well. Looks like it's never going to happen for me... :( But LA has already been established on your calendar, so you should do what seems best :)

It figures that the one time I plan something in advance, they do something like this. In the last few years I've always put off organising holidays and trips just in case they decided to go on tour.

But I've already seen a lot of DÄ gigs, while this may very well be the only chance I have to attend that workshop in LA. I can only go because the agency where I work will be closed in July and August, with any other job I couldn't just take 2 months off.

But with this band you never know, maybe they won't go on a real tour, but still play the odd gig every now and then...

Yeah, there's a lot of bands that I like that have claimed to have stopped touring, but they keep cropping up at festivals or doing one-off. It's not quite the same as touring, so there always is the hope they will still do live shows, just not part of a massive tour :)

Oh really? Then I most definitely HAVE to see them this year!! Unfortunately there's no more concert left on Saturday and now that I'm working, no idea if I could take a day off...Meh. What about you, where are you going to see them? :)

Yeah, hopefully we'll have another chance. I think this will be their last big tour, but maybe they will still play some random shows. Fingers crossed! :)
