Zitat Bela: "Yes, I know."
Got back from Berlin last night. Not coherent enought to post a real report. I'll just say this: at the Autogrammestunde after the reading (I'll write more about it because it was so CRAZY it deserves a proper description) there were Wayne and Lula as well. I said hello to Wayne, who looked quite surprised to see me there, then proceeded to kiss me on the cheek twice and told Bela: "She's the cartoon girl!" And Bela replied with three simple words, which have become my favourite English words of all time:
"Yes, I know."
I don't even know how I was able keep my cool and turn back to Wayne to tell him: "He knows," as if that was the most normal thing in the world, while inside I was screaming "OMFG he still remembers me!?!?!?"
So, that's it for now. More when I don't have so much adrenaline flowing through my system. I swear my hands are still trembling.
The fact that this morning I finally had a job interview at the music promotion agency where I've wanted to work for years isn't helping me keeping calm either...

Ha ha, Wayne. I'm sad I couldn't go to Berlin and meet him.
To me, Bela sayd "Bitte bitte kauft alle das Hörbuch..auch Du, ja?" because I had to leave when he wasn't even finished with his ending speech.

I had a look at Kill Your Friends a couple of weeks ago and read the first chapter. All I could think was "Lol... Heavy Heavy..." and picture Bez from The Happy Mondays dancing with maracas XD I was a little put off by the "Best Novel Since Trainspotting" on the cover (that sort of thing annoys me - I don't think it recognises the work as an original piece the same as putting "if you like **** then you'll love this!"), but that's not really the authors fault. Once I've caught up with my reading I might give it a proper look.
Hurry up and put your tour dates up, Bela >:(

I'm reading the book and most of the time I'm just thinking "This is SO fucking British." XD
Yeah, I wanna know Bela's tour dates too. I think for the last tour they came out around April and the tour was in Septemer/October, so I guess we'll just need to be patient...

Seriously, it's the town next to the one I live in (not that it's much better XD) and it's a complete dive! I bet most of what's in the book is just experience from living in Irvine, although it's just written in English instead of "Haw yoo yeh fuckin' baw ahl bust yer fuckin' tits in yeh fanny". Man, really wish I'd went now XD The only good thing in Irvine is the chuck wagon down at the old Comet store that has the best tomato ketchup in the universe. Oh, and the beach park that my friends and I sometimes visit to watch people dogging.
April is only two weeks away :) I will just have to be patient and think of dogging in the meantime!

I remember it that way, Wayne said: "This is OUR cartoon girl."
