Number of friends who came to our Xmas open rehearsal last night: 0. Only the singer, guitarist and keyboardist's girlfriends were there. All my friends told me they couldn't come because they were ill. I am slightly annoyed.

The positive thing is that my bass now works again.

PS Maybe I shouldn't have drunk all that white wine last night...

God people are lazy. This is why I'm scared to form my own band, I have an awful feeling few of my friends would bother to turn up to my gigs even though I watch them DJ every bloody weekend. Keep it up though, one day when you're famous they'll be kicking themselves for not seeing this gig!

They will regret not seeing the great scene of our singer welding the jack connections of my poor bass back together while the guitarist screamed "We're losing it! We're losing it!" ^_^

No, they will probably regret the fact they weren't there to eat my mother's cookies. :P

You should give it a try, think of it as something you're doing for yourself. Playing with friends is fun! :)
