No fucking way

Look at these pictures:

Do you think those are photos of an SS meeting from the '30s? You're wrong. Those are volunteers from the newly born association "Guardia Nazionale Italiana" (Italian National Guard), whose purpose is to improve national security by going around in groups and "controlling" the streets.

I am disgusted. But you know what's worse? (Yes, it gets worse.) People actually agree with them. I read an email in a local newspaper this morning that said "Well, there were groups like that during the Fascism and everyone was happy, weren't they?"

Yes, really fucking happy. I'm worried, very worried.

Isn't Hugo Boss Italian? >_>

Uhm... I don't think so? And I've only just found out (through Wikipedia) that Hugo Boss is a German label, I've always thought it was American... o_O

Stuff from Swabia. It's f.e. the suit every man can buy who doesn't want to risk anything. ;)

Omg, well then. I LIED TERRIBLY.

In any case.

They certainly look evil. Also is it common in Italy for soldiers, policemen, whatever, to still have SPQR on their uniforms? Because that is almost precious to me.

I don't think SPQR is that common, maybe the local policemen in Rome still have it, but I really don't know. We have various Latin mottos here and there, though.
