That was definitely the best way to spend his birthday. Playing a concert without caring much of rehearsing, celebrating all night long with his friends, alcohol and music and dancing and just one thought: party till you drop. Then collapsing in bed at the break of dawn and waking up mid-afternoon with her green eyes looking down at him, a naughty little smile on her lips.

He didn't even occur to him that, exactly a year before, he had been sitting in his living room, an empty beer bottle in his hand, silently cursing Jan and his bloody travelling addiction.
