Birthday presents, icons and more serious stuff

My friends are CRAZY! Last night we went to Vica's for a combined birthday dinner (Vica's + Ele's + mine) and one of the presents I got was the belt I've wanted for months but never bought because it was so bloody expensive. I was so happy I could have cried. ♥




I also got these 2 Nightmare before Christmas magnets. Vica did the drawing on the bag. :)



Also, I've wanted it for a looong time and now I finally have it: behold my brand new Farin icon! XD I have to thank eryka_59 for sending me the "Glücklich" videoclip, I had a small version of it, but the quality was crap, the one she sent me is much better. Every time I see Farin doing that I grin like an idiot, I just had to make an icon out of it. I spent a ridiculous amount of time making it and changing it and tweaking it, but it was worth it. Speaking of icons, I posted a few Bela ones at aerzte_icons, they're quite simple, but here's the link if you want to take a look.

And today's the big day. Please, keep your fingers crossed for us, I don't want to be ashamed of being Italian anymore. It's time to kick the bastard's arse. Hard. The Economist (or "The Ecomunist", like he calls it) said it too:

Hey, you don't have to apologise, how were you supposed to know? I guess foreign TVs and newspapers don't talk much about Italian politics (thank God!) But yes, it's election day, we're voting today and tomorrow morning. I just hope Italians aren't so stupid as to vote Berlusconi again... *worried*

Yes, we are sadly lacking in foreign news, and I don't get the Economist anymore (not like I had time to read it when I did get it, but at least I felt slightly more informed).

Yes, I understand, I used to get Newsweek until a couple of years ago, but never had time to read it, so I didn't renew the subscription in the end.
